Our company develops and sells polymer network liquid crystals. A drawback of conventional liquid crystals is that using two polarizing plates results in a reduction of light intensity by about 35%. In our liquid crystals, we use a scattering method that displays images through light scattering without using polarizing plates, allowing for display based on the difference between transmission and scattering. In the case of transmission, the transmission rate is about 95%, enabling display in a very bright state that is almost the same as normal vision.
